It’s Dancing Time! After 5 months of laying low, General public is back and excited to be bring you two very fine selectors from the Parisian based Dj collective La Mamies in collaboration with ‘Customs’. 

La Mamies know how to throw a party and have been doing in and around paris since 2007. Building up a healthy reputation and following of people well adverse in music. A 6 person strong collective that plays on their strengths of Ding, event management and graphic design to throw a killer knees up Parisian stylee. They run a radio show, book on solid acts and organise their own festival homed on a farming commune going by the name of Macki, where you can find your self dancing amongst a herd of sheep. This is their second time playing in London and we would like it to smash their first…so lets give them a warm welcome. Catch them on the Do!!You!!! show with Charlie Bones the morning before. Expect all things disco, boogie, jazz and a pinch of four four.

Customs is a DJ trio and party from North London. Started 2 years ago after holding down various residencies and playing/ living together over the years.

These guys have the privilege of pulling on musical influences from across the globe born out of their nomadic life style and injecting it into their parties. open-minded, free roaming around, Afro, percussive rhythms, ambient & cinematic soundscapes, loose-limbed disco, Euro oddballs and house. 

Customs have had the honour of regularly playing on local London radio shows…NTS and Balamii as well as recently spinning some tunes on Redlight radio in Amsterdam. General Public has also been graced by Customs selections and will be releasing their much anticipated Noonday Underground mix in a few weeks. 

Customs have been on General Publics radar for to long, we are now excited to be going shoulder to shoulder with them on the one’s and two’s
